Railbird Festival 2020 has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. The health and safety of our fans, artists, staff, and community is our number one priority. Rest assured Railbird will return to the grounds at Keeneland August 20-21, 2021. Current ticket holders will have the opportunity to retain their ticket(s) for Railbird 2021 by logging into their Front Gate account and selecting the rollover option before Monday, July 13 at 8pm ET. All ticket holders who do not select the rollover option will be automatically refunded in as few as 30 days after July 13. Full details will be sent to 2020 ticket holders soon. We cannot thank the city of Lexington, our dedicated fans and partners, and everyone who’s come together to help build this amazing experience enough for their continued support.
We plan to keep the spirit of Railbird alive by moving forward with the release of our 2020 Railbird Select Single Barrel Bourbons. All 2020 ticket holders (21+) that choose to retain their ticket(s) for 2021 will have early access to purchase these exclusive bottles from our partners and collaborators at Justins’ House of Bourbon this fall. In addition, we're working on new ways to activate our original weekend in 2020 with preferred access in mind for 2021 rollover ticket holders. Stay tuned to the Railbird Festival channels as we have lots more to share in the coming days.

If you need to contact our ticket service provider, Front Gate Tickets, call their friendly support team at 888-512-SHOW Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST. undefined
If your wristband has been lost or stolen, please contact our ticket provider, Front Gate Tickets or call 888-512-SHOW (7469) in advance of the festival.
Fans will need to activate their wristbands before heading to the festival to ensure a smooth process entering the gates. Wristband activation verifies the wristband authenticity. You can associate an emergency contact to your credential, as well as help expedite any issues you might have once at the fest. Activation link and directions will be available closer to the festival. Fans can securely link their wristband to a credit or debit card to pay with a tap of the wrist at food vendors, bars, and Festival merchandise tents. Fans can sign up for Cashless closer to the festival.
Can I change my payment method or pay off my layaway plan early? Yes! When you buy a ticket you are required to create an online account with Front Gate Tickets (our official ticket provider). Simply go back to railbirdfest.frontgatetickets.com (where you buy the tickets in the first place) and click “sign in” at the top. From there you can manage your orders, change credit cards or shipping address on file, and even pay it all off early if you’d like.
Only wristbands purchased through our official ticket website are guaranteed to be authentic, with properly coded and activated RFID technology. If you want 100% confidence in your ticket purchase, you should only purchase your tickets through the link on our tickets page, frontgatetickets.com or through a friend’s link in our OFFICIAL ambassador program powered by Verve. In the event of a festival cancellation, your tickets may only be refunded when purchased through our official site. Tickets from other websites or resellers cannot be verified by the festival. WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO GET SCAMMED!
PLEASE BE AWARE: We are not responsible for any counterfeit tickets, wristbands or car passes. In addition, any wristbands reported lost or stolen will have their RFID chip deactivated and will not be valid. For your own protection, please do not purchase wristbands from any source other than railbirdfest.com. Fake or deactivated wristbands may look like the real thing but they will be identified by our scanning system at the front gates. Those in possession of fake wristbands – or ones reported lost or stolen – will not be admitted to the festival and the wristband(s) will be confiscated.
Removing a wristband automatically voids it (unless by accident or for safety reasons, in which case you need to get a replacement wristband from a customer service booth at the festival – this will require you to prove your purchase information). Festival Security will check every wristband to assure it has not been removed or passed between multiple people.
Children 10 years-old and younger will be admitted free of charge with a ticket-holding adult. Limit 2 children per ticketed adult.

Railbird Festival is thrilled to announce the release of our hand-selected Rickhouse single barrel bourbons for 2020 from Kentucky’s finest distilleries. Barrel selections were chosen in collaboration with co-owners Justin Sloan and Justin Thompson of Lexington’s treasured Justins’ House of Bourbon, a well-known stomping grounds for bourbon beginners, lovers, and collectors. The process was conducted virtually this year and each session is available to view on the Railbird YouTube page. You’ll find host Drew Franklin of Kentucky Sports Radio leading a crew of extended friends, Kentuckians, and bourbon connoisseurs in discussion alongside master distillers, brand ambassadors, and more to make sure we delivered perfection with each selection.
